New to crypto cards? You are the reader cryptocardbasics is written for, especially if getting or using a normal bank card has been a struggle. Each card has a simple review and a mark out of 10, and cards are sorted by type so that a first-timer is not faced with one long list. Cards are not issued, sold or applied for through this site.

Where the facts come from

Whatever the card says itself counts most: its own pages, help centre, terms and fee list. If those leave something out, numbers from review sites and users fill in, and they are always called unofficial. Terms change a lot, so each review shows when it was last checked.

What the mark means

A mark is built from five scores between 0 and 10. How easy the card is to get and how much it costs each make up a quarter. How reliable it is, based on the issuer and user reports, makes up a fifth. Loading money onto it and using it day to day share the remaining part. If a number is not published, it is marked as not disclosed and no points are taken off.

What to keep in mind

Treat the reviews as reading, not as promotion, and not as financial, legal or tax advice. Nothing here shows how to get around identity checks, sanctions or the rules of a country.
